Need some advise

An easy way is to grind strikes and collect blue l and purple engrams. When you decipher them, do one by one, don't just button smash them all. For example decode one (1) helmet and check the light level. If the current helmet you have equipped is 220 light and the one you just deciphered is 215 you keep the 220 and dismantle the 215. Then you decipher another helmet and this one is 225 equip the 225 and dismantle the 220. Perhaps you're getting them all deciphered all at once and leveling up your light level slower. My cousin was making that mistake and I just wanted to make sure you weren't making the same mistake. advice. do trials for bounty - 300+ gear and also if you get like 7 or 8 wins, iron banner gives 310+ for reaching rank5 and can reward 300+ gear as drops, 3oC can be transferred between character, also if you have exotic engram just move to warlock and boom exotic, court of oryx can offer 290+ gear, also there is that shaxx bounty which can possibly give 310 exotic and nightfall, after that your pobbabbly ready for raid, btw i think its 290-300 for chance at 310 decypt exotic and 310+ for guarenteed

Normally i would get up and yell RAID! But you also need good weapons for that >.< Did you finish TTK story tho?
