Fighting fire with fire.[/b] [spoiler]You've decided to pre-maturely deal with the Troll yourself, constant back to back insults/ threats/ lame jokes. You've also included your friends to "back you up", your official attempt to taking down Trolls have exhausted yourself and ended up full of impatience and emotion. [/spoiler] [b]3. My way of dealing with Trolls is exactly like dancing your way through an un-determined field of un-predictable lasers whether you watched the video or not. [u][b]Requirements when dealing with Trolls:[/b][/u] - Endurance - Patience - Time management - Persistence - Serenity - No ego - No life [u][b]"There is no ignorance, There is knowledge"[/b][/u] Just like the Jedi code, never use directed insults or threats... It's immature and you've already failed step one. [u][b]"There is no Passion, there is Serenity"[/b][/u] Serenity overall means: Having a Calm mind when acting. You must become unbiased and neutral when dealing with Trolls and never show any emotion. Trolls feed of hate and hate comes from passion, letting your anger completely blind your judgement it will lead you to method "Fighting fire with fire". [u][b]In order to deal with Trolls you must learn about Trolls.[/b][/u] "Knowledge". They feed off: - Happiness - Blissful Ignorance - Positivity Where there is any form of optimism there are Haters and they turn into Trolls. [u][b]Private messages[/b][/u] Trolls will eventually send you a private message to attack you personally. Most important thing is that you do not delete/ leave the conversation. Because Trolls are nobodies as well as everybody, they constantly change their name because they it's part being a Troll and its best to keep an eye on them. [u][b]Always screenshot messages of hate created by Trolls[/b][/u] Take a screenshot when they make a mistake, so that way you will never let them forget it. Gruel but it's part of Strategy "Well..." [u][b]Never post a picture of yourself[/b][/u] Nuff said. [u][b]Typical types of Trolls[/b][/u] - Spamming - Hating - Harassing - Intellectuals - Children Usually if they are children best to ignore them, they are children "Let the baby have its bottle". [u][b]Talk in third-person, never in first person.[/b][/u] It's just awkward. [u][b]Keeping your grammar and punctuation to a minimal as possible[/b][/u] Everybody makes mistakes but taking a second to re-read before you press send, it goes a long way. It's okay to make mistakes but making one when dealing with a Troll, it's capable of backfiring. [u][b]Never stop replying[/b][/u] Well you don't have to take this action but the whole point of it is exhausting the Troll, hence why I rarely see the good old Trolls I've dealt with before. They've clearly avoided any confrontation.[/spoiler] [b][u]Conclusion[/u][/b] When dealing with Trolls it must not be out of feeding your ego.. It should be out of enjoyment of arguing, debating as well as its a great distraction.
