Sith Code Explained

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through Passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through the power, I gain victory. Through Victory, My chains will be broken The Force shall free me. Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Believing that the world is not worth worrying about because there's no point trying to fix it. Only love ones or yourself is important, your goal and your dream.
Through Passion, I gain strength.
Because you care about your love ones or yourself, you want to protect them or yourself.
Through strength, I gain power.
Seeking out further ways to protect someone or yourself.. There you will find or gain power.
Through the power, I gain victory.
With that power, not only can you protect your love ones and yourself, you can conquer the world or manipulate others with fear so that no one dares defies you.
Through Victory, My chains will be broken The Force shall free me.
You now believe you are a God, your name will spread fear and order across the galaxy.
After deducting this, it seems like steps. Not guides compared to the Jedi Code. The Sith code is very Black and White and immature. Something you'd fantasies about when you are a child. However, it's is fun.. Not a care in the world, do what you want, take what you want. Yet selfish. Like the theory, I do not believe the Sith are evil, but it's the DarkSide that makes them evil. It also seems majority prefer the Sith Code over the Jedi because it's "sounds" cool and the Jedi's code is too mainstream.

  • You go the last 2 lines wrong. "Through power I gain victory". This line means that when you have worked with all your strength and all your might, you can make your dreams become reality; nothing can stop you now. There is no direct connection to fear, manipulation, or war, that is merely subjective to each Force user. "Through Victory, My chains will be broken The Force shall free me". This means that the Force, the driving power behind what makes you strong and your dreams happen, will come through for you. There is no direct relation to fear or dominance whatsoever in this line's meaning. Anyway, both the jedi and sith codes are not wrong as they are. HOWEVER, they are only successful in moderation, not if they are taken to extremes (which is what the jedi and sith do). The jedi hear "no emotion, there is peace" they think they need to purge ALL emotion which is unrealistic and can negatively impact the Force-user. The sith hear "Through strength, I gain power" and believe they can hurt whoever they want or do whatever they need to do in order to become powerful by their current standards. Both codes are right, but both sides that interpret the codes are wrong.

    • Actually, the Sith code is more base and rooted far more in
reality
than the Jedi code. It's not preferred because it sounds cool, but because it's more relatable... humans are emotional, their emotion can cloud their mind, but it can also make them far more resilient. Strength is the basis of power and everything in existence is subservient to the use or threat of physical force.

It's a glorified space magic rendition of "right of might"

    • I like the Sith code better because I don't have to follow some old bald guy's stupid chastity laws.

    • Does this even need an explanation? It's pretty straightforward.

    • You played it both ways, well done. The "my chains are broken" bit had some debate about it among the sith if I recall. Personally, I like the jedi code more since it teaches discipline and self control. The jedi council are a bunch of pompous assholes though.
