"Refer a Friend" Quest Advice!!!

Anybody know any good ways to get that "Refer a Friend Quest" started other than standing in the tower and contacting every beginner level person you see? I have literally told at LEAST 50 people about it and to let me send them a referral link and I either get no response,they never sign up, or think I am trying to send them to a spam site...I REALLY want that quest and loot.Thanks!
