Ascendant Shards?
So i'm finally wearing all legendary/ exotic armour but I need to upgrade all of it which is about 50+ ascendant shards. Does anyone know the best place/way to earn them? (these are the blue upgrade materials not the glowing red ones for guns)

If you've gotten your Crucible, Vanguard, Dead Orbit, Future War Cult or New Monarchy to rank 2 the best thing to do is get some marks up and just buy some of the legendary armour and then dismantle it, you only get a few ascendant shards but its the best way that I've found. :3

After the patch, do the daily and nightfall. Do the raid also as each chest will give you ascendant. Buy crucible and Vanguard gear and dismantle them. Get gold in 1 public event a day for ascendant material.

Easy! Shoot into a black hole for a few hours an... oh wait, nvm xD. All the below recommendations are good suggestions though :)

2 RepliesThe best method right now would probably be the Queen's bounties. After you complete the bounty a mission opens up and you're almost guaranteed a legendary helmet or Chest piece each time, dismantle these for the shards and you should have that gear fully upgraded in no time.

Forget about the Queen's wrath for shards, the new patch put a lid on that! 1st Public event you do gives ascendant shard or strange coins, so if you have other characters which are level 20 or higher you can do the public event and store the loot in your vault to share!

Dismantle legendaries and exotics. And the raids.
