It was but a short time ago we were infected with Mites. Now we fight a different Nano technology the threat that is SIVA. now what if the events were connected? That somehow the mites that gave us XP boosts led to the SIVA outbreak. The similarities hold true, but the motivation behind such actions would be curious. These Devil splicers are a young breed, arrogant and hungry for power. Perhaps the Kings manipulated this youthful arrogance to experiment with the technology without the repercussions they could bring upon their own house. The reasoning and personal interpretation are up for debate, but the connections are relevant for discussion.
