It was but a short time ago we were infected with Mites. Now we fight a different Nano technology the threat that is SIVA. now what if the events were connected? That somehow the mites that gave us XP boosts led to the SIVA outbreak.

The only Fallen we have engaged have been wolves; however, we ended their pilgrimage centered around a Prime servitor out of its time. The other equipment in the room otherwise untouched, and in fact in pristine condition.
However there is a group that has stayed out of view. References to them fairly obscure.

This line of dialogue would seemingly suggest the kings have a presence on mars. Albeit one that has not been explored outside of subtle references.
Another interesting point is the Kings tread lightly, they act with purpose, and are anything but ravenous.
"I spent a long time in the wilderness outside the Walls. I've mentioned it before. Red-marked House of Devils Fallen always tracking my movements. The entire time I was out there, I think I saw one member of the House of Kings. Just sitting on a wall, scanning the horizon. Never even gave me a second glance." - Ghost

This talk of the Kings would seemingly have no relation to the Devil Splicers or the House of Devils since they are separate groups; however, Prince Uldren of the Awoken states otherwise.
“Prince Uldren: Look at it from the House of Kings' perspective. Their power is matched only by their cleverness. They rule the Devils from the shadows and came too close to toppling the City not once, but twice. We don't know much about them, but we know this: the Kings want the Traveler.”

If the Kings hold such sway over the Devils they could have set the Devils down the path of searching out nano-technology. The similarities hold true, but the motivation behind such actions would be curious. These Devil splicers are a young breed, arrogant and hungry for power. Perhaps the Kings manipulated this youthful arrogance to experiment with the technology without the repercussions they could bring upon their own house. The reasoning and personal interpretation are up for debate, but the connections are relevant for discussion.

This actually bodes well with my personal theory that some of Rise of Iron's story was cut for a free April-Update-esque story, involving Rasputin and now, maybe even the Kings. I'll post the link to the full post when it's complete.

those other mites were SIVA prototypes
-
Very interesting post.
shouldve titled it "of mites and men"
-
You are over thinking this. It's not that complex.
-
I don't think you've read the grimore. Splicers are a sub - group of all houses that are dedicated to technological superiority for the survival of the fallen.
-
That's interesting, at one point during the story missions i believe they mention that there are a few King insignia amount Devil equipment but none to be found.
-
I bet the owl sector stuff is gonna play into the raid, maybe not though.
-
That we know off the kings don't have anything that would match the power of Siva. Setting them up to get the power of Siva and there being the possibility of the splicers to turn on the kings for power would be idiotic on the kings part.

What if TTKK(true kell of kells) is the kell of the house of kings
-
Kinda seems like your grasping at straws, if anything variks will become kell of house judgement unite the fallen and stand with us.
-
Makes sense why they call themselves the house of "kings"... But what Im thinking is maybe Prince uldren was helping them... I know he's most likely dead now but it he's always had a hatred towards his sister because the awoken have women leaders and he wants to be "King". Maybe he was helping them stay in the shadows since going off every other fallen... They don't seem overly intelligent or its just a coincidence that we single handedly almost wiped out 3 houses
-
Interesting, makes sense!! Thanks for the post
-
So basically, the Kings actually know what they're doing, what they're fighting, and what to do when the time to actually go to war comes. Shows that there probably the most dangerous house, maybe even more than the SIVA-died splicers.

This supports my theory that we might see another, TDB-style DLC at some point in Spring 2017 focusing on the only Fallen house that hasn't been torn apart by us (Wolves and Winter are utterly gone, Exile is barely even a House, and the Devils have lost all of their Archons and Sepiks).
-
I know i havent read the lore in ages but what if the mites were scanning us and giving back data to siva?
-
I would love it if the Kings were a major threat in the near future...maybe Destiny 2...and we have to align ourselves with other Fallen to fight against them (and maybe the "darkness")

Bump *sips tea*

As far as we know, the Kings occupy the Terrestrial Complex and Kings' Watch in the Cosmodrome. We can't reach the Skywatch in Plaguelands patrol, but the entrance to Kings' Watch is in the Rocketyard, which we have access to. I highly doubt it, but are we able to get in there to see if the splicers have interacted with the Kings?
-
Like the post, but just saying, we've had a tussle with every house except dead ones. Hell we killed the winter archon and 3 kings barons
-
Interesting taco. Bumpity

I would be set to believe that the Devils would then turn on the kings when they got the power of siva. Now they would become gods
