Does anyone know if Destiny will be 3rd or 1st person.
I was wondering if anyone knew. I know that 3rd person is the main setup for MMORPGs but I think that a 1st person RPG for the console would be very cool. What do you guys think?

I also think that, if they wont make it a 3rd person others might create the same genre in 3rd person. It also makes me wonder, if one day they're will be just a few main games being played, since I already thought myself about the concept of bringing shooter and mmo's together and find that, if it's well made, to be a pretty complete game, to the point that I would just stick with that one game and have another 1 or 2 for a change from time to time.

I heard it was strictly First Person. I really hope they will give us an option between 1st person and 3rd person.

i think that it will be optional weather its third person or first because it would make the game a thousand tomes more interesting because of the view

Its going to be an FPS, but it would be cool to have a choice between the two. (like the Elder Scrolls, or Fallout series).

I heard it was going to be 3rd person in the city (city of Compton) and 1st person elsewhere.

I hope its third person. Sick of playing fps and if it is a rpg even better, tbh havn't read up much on destiny yet other then the concept art and what i find on youtube.

Well I don't think they have said anything but I believe that it will be first person since they will most likely want you to be the character.
