I know this image is from an old game (Phantasy Star Universe, if you wanted to know), but I feel that the concept of a home for each character is one that should be implemented in every large open-world game. Assuming we will be able to roam freely, it would be nice to have a safe haven to hang out in during off hours. Any thoughts?

A character home, like from Skyrim, would be awesome. One that you can customise, display weapons and armors, and create things for yourself (think Fallout workbench). Surely there will be something like a character home in Destiny.

Speaking of PS, I'm way too hyped for Phantasy Star Online 2

I think that's what the tower they talked about is supposed to represent.

Your character's "home" as such will be the City that the Traveller hovers over. Here you'll be able to visit various districts within the city in order to meet with other players and participate in activities such as gambling, competitive multiplayer, or meeting up with friends to embark on missions.
