FIRST PERSON VEHICLE OPTION
I would love there to be an option to drive vehicles in fps, my dream.

Imagine sitting in your starship in First-person view watching as you blast through space until you arrive to you set destination. Imagine watching the meteor ring surrounding Saturn as you prepare for arrival to the derelict spaceship "The Cassini" which lies in the magnetic field of Saturn. Its would be -blam!-ing amazing

It would be more difficult, but I feel like, when done right, first person driving is so much more immersive.

2 RepliesIt sounds like a good idea but offers absolutely no benefits, where at least in third person you can see around the vehicle and view damage, boarders, passengers (of lack of) as well as just more situational awareness. First person view would remove all of those advantages.

2 RepliesI think this is one of those things that sounds nice but when actually implemented, it becomes rarely used due to the difficulty. I would like the option and use it occasionally myself.

Halo CE passengers shot in first person. It was toooooo cool man

I could live with out it. All of the third person switching reminds me of Halo but cooler.

A first person option would be cool and would be used by some. Personally I prefer the greater situational awareness you get with 3rd person, however, I would enjoy driving around using it.

There's no reason it shouldn't be implemented, provided that we can switch to and from 3rd to 1st.

I hope there is an option for first person at least, because vehicles feel far more realistic that way, and they make for intense vehicle driving. An option for third person vehicles would be nice as well, so that players can choose their preference.
