With all this "costumization" thing, it's kinda pointless if you are playing on a first person view, because you are not allowed to appreciate your character's "beauty", so shall we be allowed to change the person view, like in fallout? or not? why?

I've been wanting a 3rd person option ever since Halo 3 because I want to see just how awesome I look I spend way to much time and thought process when I customize my character in any game! and to not be able to to see all my work on it is just disappointing to me

I agree with Android 17i with when your battling you wont care about what your character is wearing but it would be nice when your just roaming around civil places to be able to admire your characters outfit

I don't know much about splitting server between, but it would be nice to have a third person option maybe in non combat areas? I would be less worried about seeing my armour and design features than fighting the enemy on the battlefield.

No, because it would be confusing. True you couldn't see yourself but other people could admire (or criticize) your customization.

I doubt that. It's meant to be a first person shooter. Applying a third person option changes a lot of things on what Bungie has already done, If they do they need to make it so they're third person servers, although one server will have more than the other and the community is just split up.

I think that there will be an option to play in either first or third person.

I'd like to see if, I play COD with a friend in third person often, and I like it alot. So at least a option to have it would be nice. i like to see my character, especially if the game has great gear and customization for it. But then again I've read so far that the only 3rd person view available will be when you are in the hubs in the towers.
