I know the consoles can't play with each other but I can't imagine there's a reason why I wouldn't be able to use my character on any system if they're stored on Bungie servers.
Has there been any word on this?
Thanks for your time gents and ladies!

Well, we know it can be done as GTA V has shown - at least from an Xbox to a PS. Really, all we are talking about is a save game file that will need to be correctly compiled for the appropriate operating system architecture. It really falls to Sony and Activision whether or not they want to allocate personnel to implementing this type of exchange. At this point, I would say they are not focusing on such an issue. It will definitely be something they may consider in the coming years leading to Destiny Book 2. I am sure Sony would love to say, play Destiny 2 on PS4 with your imported character from Destiny... just as much as Microsoft would enjoy being able to state the corollary argument.

Ive asked this question several times, no one has ever given me a straight answer. Want to know if i can go from 360 to xb1 with my characters.

You can transfer your character from a current gen console to it's next gen bro but you cannot do this across platforms. Deej stated (I believe) that it is primarily Sony and Microsoft's decision to add a service like this.

Good thing I only have one system! ahahahahaha...I have no friends *cries*

I wish I'm starting on 360 and moving to ps4 at some point I'll lose my guy for what seems like no reason outer then not getting x1

Unfortunately, this won't work. Bungie has confirmed that there is about ~50 more hours of gameplay on the PlayStation them on the Xbox, so there will be too much missing content between the two.

Actually I believe at least from ps3 to ps4 you are allowed a one way transfer to the ps4..seem to remember it from an interview
