cross-gen multiplayer?
So I pre-ordered Destiny on PS4, but my friend pre-ordered it on PS3, I was wondering if this game might have a cross gen multiplayer thing, like we could still play together though we are on different consoles

The technical capacity exists to do so. Bungie has not stated whether or not they will use the feature on PS platforms. My guess would be no. It is not possible on MS platforms.

Where has this been stated? Could we have a source please? Most sources online are only speculating that cross-gen SHOULD be possible considering the low FPS
