Worry over beta server congestion :(
Is anyone else worried about not getting their download codes on the 17th due to server congestion. I'm pretty paranoid. Has anything been said about this?

This is exactly one of the things Bungie would like to see perform for their beta tests :) Hopefully it holds, if not...hopefully they adapt quickly and prepare for anything that could happen like that in the full game

Uhh....thats kinda the idea/point behind beta tests, to stress test and find weaknesses in software and hardware

The whole point of the beta is to see how the systems hold up under the load of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of players playing at once. It's a stress test.

Most likely. I'm prepared for server to crash for the beta and the retail release on 9th sept

If it's like an MMO launch the play servers will be fine. The log in server will crash in the first five minutes.

The mess up during the alpha has me worried for the beta. I have gotten no email or message from sony yet and the beta is tomorrow!
