If you've been stalking Bungie's every move involving Destiny then you know about the Vault of Glass. How do you all plan on completing the Vault of Glass knowing all information so far?! What is you plan?!

Masterbate in-game to skip to the end of the raid

Edited by Thegreatjoe: 8/30/2014 11:43:53 AMJust get in with my friends and fail miserably for about 5 hours and then miraculously make it trough the door and then spend another 5 hours trying to kill the boss and then we all go home crying.

Step one: find good teammates. Step two: give up because my schedule for gaming sucks :( Step 3: destiny is love, destiny is life
-
My strategy is to shoot the glass and hope it isn't bulletproof. If this doesn't work it needs nerf.

I've manage to find and track down all of the 24 participates that attempted the raid. I have them here in my basement with various items and halo 3 forge ready. I plan for them to build me the vault from memory using said items. If they fail to comply, I will make an example of the group that called it quits first.

The only plan anyone can hav to beat the vault of glass right now is find 6 people and give it a shot..

Find a solid gang of players that know how to communicate! The rest will be up to the coordination.

Edited by OldboyVicious: 9/1/2014 12:51:54 AMWe know now that you can save your progress occasionally, and saved progress and loot drops reset every Tuesday. My plan is to play from Sept. 9th Tuesday until the next Tuesday (Sept. 16th), and hope that within that week I can give it a shot. Start with my team on Tuesday the moment it resets, and take small breaks at each save point. Having a good team and communication is key. After beating it on normal, you unlock the hard mode. We will start the hard mode the following Tuesday when it resets again.

I imagine the vault of glass will require something to even unlock it. I don't think it will be available day 1.
-
...playing normal, actually learning a thing, beating it on hard after toils and trials. Make nice raid handbook.

A nuke. Nukes do solve everything, right?

Go ham times 6 #gotgearteamxb1

Get my team together and keep at it until we beat it!! I don't care how long it takes!!! Or at least until I get bored or someone goes AFK
-
My plan is to do it right the first time!

Edited by gallp13: 8/31/2014 12:15:06 AMGreat question 1. Have formed a Group and Clan of Raiders 2. Scouring the sources for Destiny Raid Info 3. Starting to determine raid party composition 4. Starting to discuss Raid leaders and roles As an example, and based on the little we know about Destiny Raids, it seems clear Raid parties will need a bullet sponge-defender. The Titan Defended subclass is perfect for this role. While its probably not the most exciting or sexy member of the team it is critical so I have agreed to develop this character from the get go as a PvE and Raid specialist. I love PvP and will develop a specialist PvP class more suited to my run and gun flanker play style. The jury is still out and I would love advice on the best class, but I am thinking Warlock.

I have already started. Made a 5 part "Raid Speculation" post to my claim taking the facts we know about the game and putting them into raid situations. Going over everything from level progression dealing with raids to what type of roles can each class play and bring to the table.
-
We know nothing of the Vault. All we can say is that it will take a powerful team, time dedication, and the failures of others to learn how these raids operate. Bungie has said there's no guide to these raids so we'll be building definitive guides compiled from information of many other gamers.

Edited by Phil 421: 8/30/2014 12:03:09 PMNot looking forward to them seeing as it's all dependent on co-operation and coordinating schedules it seems like a weekly headache that will turn into a DAA (Destiny Addicts Anonymous) meeting about why we do this to ourselves every week for just a few items. But I'll still do them until it's intolerable.

Edited by Psyko_Dad: 8/30/2014 11:58:41 AMPlay it, beat it within a week. If I can't succeed, try again the next week. If I succeed, play again the next week.
