So no new Raid...
That's it then guys, Bungie have officially announced the House of Wolves release date - and then spectacularly trolled us all by also confirming it will have NO NEW RAID.
So say hello to continuing to grind the f*ck out of crota, maybe they'll add another difficulty level to VoG - but no new content for raids... Wow that's a giant FU community.
All the new content they've alluded to has already been confirmed as 3 man only!
I noticed they also haven't confirmed that the new raid, not included in HoW, IS coming later, but is not necessarily included in the season pass...
Thoughts?

Must admit that my mind's been elsewhere for some time now. I miss the social side of Destiny but it'll have to be a superb update to really get me hooked again, especially as the Witcher 3 comes out on the same day. I'm well and truly invested in Bloodborne at the moment so I'm not really missing the game, just a few of my new DoD mates.

I am quite optimistic and hope it will not be a disappointment once we get into it, hopefully there should be some real continual intensity. They could even introduce some variety and unpredictability instead of following a set pattern. Some of the wave based battles can be a challenge that require a lot of skill and support from each other. I guess it depends on whether you like playing strikes and skirmish in the crucible...for me they are good fun! Socialising with 3 rather than 6....will still be a laugh and may be able to find 3 more regularly than 6, and then another 3, then another..etc! I will give it a chance....

1 ReplyI agree the destiny community has been duped by false promise of how raid. 6 player fireteams and the challenge of solving or cheesing was great fun. 4 hrs of raiding then finally getting that weapon or gear you wanted gave a huge buzz. Do you really think raid 3 will be free, yeah right !

Yup, not surprised at all. Was wondering if the arena would be me of a horde mode than a raid. Sigh. If they spend the extra time to make raid #3 more like VoG than Crota then that's no bad thing but it had better be a part of the expansion pass and not just Comet... N.
