Xur's Telemetry Packs

While he's here I thought I'd post this as I only found out yesterday. I wanted to upgrade my shiny new Suros and bought a pack from him. Each one lasts 30mins so went to Mars and activated one. Killed quite a few Cabal and thought it was going well until after 30mins my perks had hardly moved. I had 2 bounties to hand in and thought about the stat bonus you get from them, activated a telemetry and gave in bounties. I'll have to do more testing but I'm sure my gun stats rose about 1/4 per bounty. With this I was thinking, if you did a mission/strike (the higher the better) and just before you finished used a telemetry then handed in bounties (the more the better) you could gain a considerable amount from each telemetry used.
