I love hand cannons and have wanted this since the game came out so I snapped it up. The range is pants but as others have said sometimes it's all about fun. I really wanted this to try it out in PVP so I'll be giving it a go on there once I've leveled it a little.

2 RepliesI had 52 coins so figured, why not?! Compared to my maxed out Devil You Know it's doing less damage but I reckon it'll be pretty good once levelled. Logically, the higher capacity mag (13 with Field Scout) on DYK makes it a "better" weapon - and I'll keep that so I can run an Exotic Special / Heavy when I want to - but I really like TLW and it's FUN ... just love the way he spins it after I've hurled a knife at someone ...

1 ReplyIf you don't have Suros Regime or Icebreaker i would save your coins, xur will probably sell 1 of those next week and it would be a real shame to miss out. Suros would be 23 coins and Icebreaker 17

2 RepliesTo dirty harry or not dirty harry, that is the question. Coins are easy to come by and eventually you will have more that you know what to do with, I've wanted the last word since launch and only just got it as the reward from the nightfall this week. I'd say buy it!

1 ReplyI have hawkmoon, last word, devil you know, lord high fixer and thorn. The last word is not great in my view. The range is the problem. I play mid to long range as a hunter and the hawkmoon is better as is the crucible LHF. Last word has an awesome shot and switch out animation [like a cowboy firing a gun] but its not great ranged and really only an ok gun. If your collecting exotics or play close range combat go for it but i quickly went back to HM or LHF as my handcannon of choice.

OK guys so riddle me this.. Did you not find that once you owned an exotic that your exotic drops become more frequent or easier to obtain? I am still stuck with a rare primary lol

Good question - I've got the Devil You Know (Which is very good) and don't know if this is worth it. Plus I like my Suros and my scout rifle as primary so not sure. If handcannons suit your play style and you don't have one of the other good ones then its probably worth buying.. The other way of looking at it is what else can you spend the coins on!
