Version 1.0.4.0 - Update Notes

Version 1.0.4.0 has now been submitted for certification. It should be available soon, just in time for the new expansion. Here's a run-down of what's new in v1.0.4.0: More detailed post-game carnage reports Post-game carnage reports are now far more detailed. Tapping on an individual player will open a details view of that player's performance in a given activity. This details view incorporates a 'Stats' section and a 'Weapons' section as well as a 'Medals' section for Crucible activities. The 'Stats' section shows a list of player stats which are relevant for that activity type. Tapping on an individual stat item opens a leaderboard view of that particular stat showing where you placed in comparison to the other players in that activity with respect to a certain stat. For example, tapping on the 'Resurrections Performed' stat in a Raid PGCR opens a leaderboard showing who performed the most resurrections in that Raid activity. The 'Weapons' section shows a list of weapons the player used in that activity. Tapping on an individual weapon opens a details view for that weapon showing some basic stats and the weapon description. The 'Medals' section is only available for Crucible activities and provides a list of medals the player earned in that activity. Post-game carnage reports for PvE activities will now show the time spent in that activity regardless of whether you completed the activity or not. Unearned Crucible Medals With this update, you'll also be able to view Crucible medals you haven't earned in a given activity type. To view these, simply open the activity stats page for a given Crucible playlist (e.g. Control) and swipe over to the 'Medals' section. If you scroll down past your earned medals, you'll be able to view medals you haven't earned yet in that playlist ordered by score value. Upgrade material requirements You can now also view the material requirements (e.g. Glimmer, Spirit Bloom, Ascendant Energy etc.) for an individual talent node. To view these, simply tap on a talent node inside the talent tree of a weapon or armour piece. The node details popup will show this information below the perk description. 'The Dark Below' app theme To celebrate the imminent launch of Expansion I: The Dark Below, this update also features a brand-new 'The Dark Below' app theme. To switch to this app theme, simply navigate to the app settings by tapping the new 'Settings' link in the app's navigation section. Then, tap 'SWITCH THEME' and select 'The Dark Below'. Let me know what you think of the new theme :) Donation options I've been really humbled by the number of requests for the option to donate :) In this update, I've added some donation in-app purchases to Destiny Stats. These are accessible by tapping on the 'About' link in the app's navigation section and then tapping the 'DONATE' button at the bottom of the page. This new donation page has a number of donation in-app purchases at different price tiers ranging from $0.99 USD to $9.99 USD. I really appreciate a donation of any amount :) UI tweaks and bug fixes The progress bar under each gear item now reflects the XP until the next unlock instead of the total XP. I found that the app was incorrectly reporting total XP which prompted this change. If I find a better way of calculating total XP, I'm open to changing this back to showing the total XP. The 'switch account' link in the 'guardians' page has moved out from the app bar into the page content in the form of an inline button. This should make this feature more discoverable and makes it quicker to switch account. Character data should now refresh more reliably. Previously, it appeared that certain data (e.g. activity history, activity stats, gear) did not refresh when switching account. I believe this issue is now resolved so you should be able to view up-to-date data more consistently. Auto-unlock talent nodes will now display as having full XP instead of no XP. This update also includes a number of fixes for crashes that many users encountered in version 1.0.3.2.
