Exotic bounty trick possibly?
I have turned in a lot of these and even 5 at a time a few times and nada... I read one trick was to not only turn in 5 at a time but spam turn them in hitting X over and over.
Well I said what the hell and tried it and sure enough 3 popped up that I got to choose from. I took The Pocket Infinity bounty.

Yeah I stink at pvp period and will abandon any that require the pvp....

6 RepliesAll but 1 of the bounties require PVP time, I do hate this! I understand there is a PVP part to the game but I'm not interested on it. All the ones that have PVP do penalize you for dying so even if you are there to play and make the best of it you still at a loss unless you become a camper or underhanded player not to die (become good is an option BUT "nobody have time for that" LOLZ). So unless you are prepared to play it PVP dont bother!

Edited by ausher: 9/29/2014 2:08:02 PMI just got another exotic bounty. This time all i turned in was two queen bounties. Its for thorn. I got to get 500 points u n crucible with a void weapon. I get 5 points for kills and -2 for deaths. What a pain. I got 120 points so far. My kd has been at its best with this bounty even tho im always in last, but my kd is higher than everyone elses. Anywhere from 3.0 to 5.0 I use a sniper rifle and hide by an ammo crate and kill people at the flag in control.

Honestly from what I've been reading it just seems like they pop up after a certain amount of bounties are accomplished. Tried it couple ways just like you guys did then one day I just happened to pop in the tower turn in one & they showed up. Then 3 days after the queen showed up was turning in Vanguard and her bounties and they showed up again. Was running 2 exotic bounties at the same time and ended up abandoning them both. The third stage which requires crucible is absolutely ridiculous and gave up : ( What I mean by ridiculous, I was attempting the 500 void damage. After the first match I checked was 10 of 500 , figured okay this won't be bad. Then after two bad matches it was back to 0 of 500. They actually deduct the points back off when you have a bad match so I figured hell no : (

Its all random i think. I turned in 5 and got one. Turned in 3 a bunch of times and nothing. Turned in 5 again and nothing. Spam turned 5 in like you said and nothing.
