Just gonna chime in here The appearance of the Didact on the cover doesn't mean he has any major role whatsoever. Or engages in a psychical confrontation with chief. Or even meets him. Or is even in it at all Hell, Chief's "greatest challenge" might be dealing with all the loss he's experienced recently, and the Didact on the cover represents this
