I kicked my laptop into the wall. Now it won't play sounds. Help?

Long story short, I was screwing around with my niece and I did a back kick (I've been doing a martial art for a few years now, btw) and accidentally knocked my semi-new $1200 laptop from the desk into a wall several meters away. Only damage I can see is the bottom left hand corner of the casing is cracked.. but for some reason now the speakers aren't working (that includes headphones too). Anyone know what the deal could be?
