Batman Begins VS The Dark Knight VS The Dark Knight Rises

Three brilliant films, all apart of one brilliant trilogy. All of them have great villains, brilliant actors (Liam Neeson Bitches) and all of them have the Goddamn Batman. But which of these movies is the best one? I'd say the dark knight is the best one, with dark knight rises being a VERY close second. If Batman didn't have his mouth open all the time it would have made Batman just more awesome.

    • The Dark Knight > Batman Begins > The Dark Knight Rises Rises is a good film though, Batman is a fantastic film, and Dark Knight is a modern classic.

    • The Dark Knight>The Dark Knight Rises>Batman Begins This is objectively speaking AND in my opinion.

    • My favorite is Batman Begins, but I think The Dark Knight is, objectively speaking, the best of the three.

      • I honestly believe that the Dark Knight Rises was complete and utter trash. It was a bunch of puzzle pieces [sequences] that really don't fit together all that well, the pieces were forced together to create the picture as a whole. In the end you had a badly paced, inconsistent, somewhat goofy and yet strangely beautiful mess. The Dark Knight on the hand was pretty neat. It managed to keep that tension without feeling silly like TDKR. Batman Begins was pretty good pop-corn flick, it had a few small plot-details that made me raise my finger but at least it had a good run time and wasn't dragged out like TDKR.

        • Dark Knight > Dark Knight Rises > Batman Begins They are all astoundingly great films, though. There will never be a better portrayal of Batman in film, and I am disappointed that there won't be any more Nolan Batman movies. (seriously, -blam!- the reboot)

        • This one part of TDKR always bothered me, where catwoman should have died but didn't, in the bar, when the dude sits there moronically swinging his pistol at her while simultaneously doing absolutely nothing to stop her from whooping his ass. Coulda been choreographed better.

        • TDK > TDKR > BB. That's pretty much how most people would put it, and being a big fan of the trilogy, that's how I would put it.

        • Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins In order from best to worst. All of them were very solid movies though. The Joker's acting in DK was just so fkn good, it edges it to victory. Bane was also very well played.

        • Probably the second one. The third one was great and I even had some man tears at the end when Alfred was crying, but IMO, they should've killed Bruce at the end. That one bit was a little too.. cliché for me and so I put the movie below the second one.

Ger lerd, the layout still sucks major wa-wa. _-_ The Dark Knight is the best of the three. Heath Ledger is an animal. The way he licks his lips drives me cray-cray. Seriously, though, it's the bee's knees. I find the plot of TDKR to be rather silly, and ultimately boring. The villain reveal was cheesy and pointless. Bane wasn't intimidating or frightening, he was just silly, just plain goofy. Also, the Avengers is waaayyyyy better than TDKR.

            • The Dark Knight was leagues above the other two IMO. I honestly don't see how anyone could like one of the others more than it. It was the perfect comic book movie and I doubt there will ever be one that will top it for me.

            • I definitely enjoyed Rises the most. Even if the writing suffered a bit, it's a grand scale spectacle that's just oozing of ambition from the director and the cast. I really felt immersed in Gotham and Bane is terrifying. I've heard people criticizing the voice, but I personally thought it was brilliant. I do believe it worked better in cinemas though, it's like that with most of Nolan's bigger films. They're not quite as good on a second viewing at home and you start noticing some of the flaws. All in all, what he did with this trilogy is something that's impossible for me not to appreciate. I know people who hated it, but something about it just clicked for me.

                  • The series as a whole was okay, but the one movie that was a real standout was TDN. Despite the series' numerous problems they were enjoyable, but only TDN really stood out with Heath Ledger's Joker.
