Halo Reach vs Halo 4
Halo Reach gave me more fun multiplayer wise, but I liked Halo 4's campaign slightly better because it was new.
Halo 4 just felt like no effort was put into it at all. I sort of like the Bungie touch to the game

I will never retract my thoughts on the fact that Halo 4 is better than Halo Reach. I mean seriously guys? Reach was terrible, I KNEW that everybody would be praising Reach once Halo 4 was released. It will happen again when Halo 5 is released.

Okay. I really don't -blam!-ing get this. I keep hearing people say that Halo 4's Forge is worse then Reach's. How the -blam!- is it worse? It has every feature Reach had, and many more. Magnets speed up Forging 100 fold. Halo 4's Forge is better in every way. The only problem is the Forge maps aren't very big, but that's not actually part of the Forge tools of Halo 4.

I would have liked Reach more if it didn't throw the existing storyline out a window/as a standalone game outside the Halo series) Multiplayer: Reach Forge/custom games: Reach Player Customization: Reach Could contribute to the walls of text, but won't since I've got class in the morning. For now, I'll just say that Halo 4 didn't leave enough unanswered questions- they started and ended everything in a span of 8 hours. The problem is it feels like the story is over- the main villain seems dead, Cortana broke(A key driving force in the series was Cortana/chief's relationship, which is now forced to come to a close), and the only problem left are those storm covies but weren't they killed off in Spartan Ops(sorry if thats wrong, I lent a cousin the game 2 months ago and have yet to get it back)? Edit: Darn it, contributed to the wall of texts >_<

I enjoy/am impressed by/find new things in/have fun with/reach. In fact just the other day I found a destiny reference while playing LNOS. Halo 4 is about as fun as teh star wars prequels.

Halo reach is best Halo 4 story was just bleh, the missions were boring, and the multiplayer sucks.

Halo 4, though Reach's is still beautiful. Multiplayer? They're both crap. Though 4 is less terrible, IMO. Oh wait, Post TU Reach was actually my favorite MP since CE. Never mind. Overall Halo 4 > Reach. Both are still better than Pre TU Halol 2. Come at me.

3 RepliesProblems with Halo 4 (in my opinion): - No Theater in campaign. - Lacked firefight. - Spartan Ops was repetitive, boring, laggy, and generally unimpressive, excluding the CGI cutscenes. - Lacked a nice big open forge map. - Multiplayer isn't as entertaining as it could have been. - Campaign felt short, confrontation between Didact and Chief was awful. - Shift to a more CoD style of play in multiplayer. - Lacked nice map variety, no map really stood out to me like Sandtrap. - Lack of nice big, open vehicle maps. Problems with Reach: - Conflicted with canon. - Characters were on the 2-D side. - Armor abilities needed some fine tuning. - Not enough done with space combat. - Not enough done with the Assembly. Overall, I liked Reach better than Halo 4. Halo 4 is a good game, as is Reach, but it lacks something that Reach had. I can't quite put my finger on it, but they feel like entirely different series.

Halo 4 killed my two favorite things from reach: Invasion and firefight and 343 killed invasion with the ton of community shit tier maps...

3 RepliesI strongly dislike both, but Reach wasn't as bad as Halo 4. Halo 4's multiplayer was just way too much of a deviation from the arena style that I expect from Halo. Loadouts just didn't work for me. Both campaigns were incredibly bland and unmemorable (Though Reach's attempts at tragedy made me laugh a few times). They were fun enough playing through, but I'd never replay it for fun. I'm not giving out points to either game here.

Reach had Invasion thus better multiplayer. Halo 4 had a better campaign.

4 RepliesHalo 4 would be extremely easy to fix though. All that need be done is to remove Infinity Slayer and replace it with normal Slayer with 1 kill 1 point scoring, AR / Magnum starts, and weapons on the map again. Boom, you have a great multiplayer, just by doing that.

I had way more fun playing Halo Reach. You could tell Bungie made it. I've played about 1 weeks worth of Halo 4 and got extremely bored. The same thing happens every game.

The Competitive community, the race community, the custom games community and they tried to kill off forge opinion in my opinion and let's not forget the MLG communities and the frickin speed running/Score and Searching communities. They also tried to force COD onto Halo fans and they killed Firefight, why not both SO and FF. Seriously most of the Halo fanbase has left. 1 million people pre ordered and 40,000 play daily. THAT IS BAD FOR A HALO GAME. THE POPULATION DIED OFF SO QUICK!
