Something seems different... here's an interesting "before and after" in Destiny's development!

Similarly, the 2013 ViDoc Traveler vs. the 2014 Beta Traveler. Pretty cool to see how far things have come along with the game. Anyone notice other visual/interface upgrades in the Beta worth pointing out?

The biggest difference between the Alpha and the Beta is the fact I'm playing the Beta.

The difference between the Traveler is night and day...quite literally. Ok, maybe technically not night, just a different time of day. As for the Director, UIs are generally one of the last things to be finalized, being continuously worked on and tweaked even after all of the other departments have been locked down. It is definitely a huge improvement IMO. Now, if Depths of Darkness is not an earlier name for The Vault of Glass, then that's at least two raids we can count on.

They simply have updated textures and graphics

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the difference between the Travler. The snow particles are thinner in the beta build than they were in the alpha build, the lighting has been made to make everything look much more crisp and smooth, and the sky box looks more beautiful than ever (look up at night in old Russia).

Can anyone else see the similarities between the default spaceship and the Sabre from Halo Reach?

Visual no not really but the distance sounds travel is pretty impressive
