Maintenance items that you should never cheap out on or neglect?
What are maintenance items on your car that you should cheap out on or neglect? Tires are probably the biggest one in my opinion. I can't believe people neglect their tires.

You are only hurting yourself economically and in better performance of your car if you do not install one in place of the paper filters. Other than that, replacing parts like alternators or batteries you can get by with the store brand options, just make sure to get the lifetime warranty. You may be needing to use it more than you think.
