Lets say you have around 60k to spend on a car, and your only options are the beautiful Alfa Romeo 4C or the insanely powerful Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Which do you pick? I'd pick the Alfa hands down. I mean just look at it. It's so beautiful. Not only is it gorgeous, its a light nimble sports car. It's so light, and it just seems to be car that's all about having fun. Plus its an Alfa Romeo which means whenever you drive it, you'll have a smile on your face. The Hellcat is an insane 707hp machine but it doesn't do anything for me. I respect it and I'm glad it exists but I'd take the Alfa over it every dang time.

Hellcat without a doubt
-
I don't even think it's a choice, alpha Romeo
-
Hellcat all the way
-
Hellcat, although I'd prefer a 1969 Camero SS

Having owned an SRT Magnum and driven plenty of 300's, Chargers and Challengers, I am very familiar with the wheelbase, handling, stance and reactions of the base frame, suspension and drivetrain. The thing is (at least for me) that the HP is a lot like a concealed weapon. It's always there, you're always aware of it, but you only use it when you choose to. I like sleepers. Though it's not easy to "sell" a Challenger as a sleeper. So I would probably go with the Hellcat, debadge and remove most of the tagging on it that ID's it as a Hellcat. While I can respect and admire gorgeous cars (the Alfa is beautiful), I personally don't want/need a "look at me" sort of car. I'd rather have something that if I do decide to punch it, all that the person in the lane beside (or behind me) can see is my quickly disappearing taillights and the sound of them saying "WTF was THAT?"

Edited by Numero Uno: 5/23/2015 5:56:43 PMAlfa is unreliable in terms of quality, repairs are expensive, and I never liked the look. I always thought of them as the poor mans Ferrari. Just my opinion and some gathered intellect from richer relatives. As for me, I have said it before on these forums and I will say it again. I love my Cummins and Hemis. I've driven challengers and chargers, from the base R/T to the 392 Hemi, and with that knowledge I would pick the Hellcat because I like to smoke my tires, do donuts in a parking-lot, and drag race from light to light.

Alfa Romeo. It's unique, and you can't find one anywhere where I live.

Edited by Dirty Synth 002: 5/23/2015 5:58:22 PMAlfa Romeo 4C, power isn't everything (coming from a guy who owns a R34 & R35 GTR Nismo) especially around where I live, and knowing that there are NO alfa romeos ANYWHERE, I would love to have that one of a kind car.
-
To own, I'd pick the Challenger, hands down. But which is the more capable vehicle? There's no competition there either.
-
Secret option 3 *drools*
-
Hellcat. I want something more 'murican than an Alfa.
-
4c all the way look at the thing. And beside I live in Canada we don't get Alpha Romeo's here so it would also stand out more.
-
I also like cars that have passion and soul to them. Good grip and great steering is what I look for
-
Hellcat
-
Alfa Romeo definitely
-
I'd have to go hellcat I love the 4C, but I'm not exactly looking for a car that is that track focused.
-
As a muscle car guy, I have to say the Alfa..... Yep! The Hellcat may be a monstrous, fire breathing beast, but it isn't everyday driving road civil. I really prefer the Scat Pac Challenger over the Hellcat, simply for the shaker. But personally I am REALLY tired of the Challenger. They're freakin everywhere. I'd much rather have an old one than a new one, and at that I'd rather it was a Cuda. It just looks better, though the same.

Neither. Give me a Shelby Mustang
-
Hellcat all the way. Alfa will fall apart.
-
4c Respect Italian cars Respect...
-
I love the Challenger, but the Charger Hellcat is my baby.
-
Bump so people will talk more cars
-
I choose..... A lotus.

Thundercat
