So the first episode of Top gear with out the good ole trio premiered this past weekend. What are your thoughts?
I thought it wasn't terribly but not great. I do not like Chris Evans at all he's annoying and weird. The viper review wasn't that good, and it was a waste of Sabine. I liked the new star in a car bit. I thought it was somewhat enjoyable, and the new track looks fun. Matt LeBlanc was great and I liked most of his Ariel review. I think with some time it can be good but not as good as OTG as it was in its prime. I think they should fire Evans though I do not like him

Sounds like there will be a change in the line up. Le Blanc will leave unless Harris is fired. And I don't even watch this show.

It wasn't great. Chris Evans needs to leave and be replaced by Chris Harris. Matt LeBlanc stole the show for sure and Sabine should be involved more. The problem is they are trying to do old Top Gear with a new cast, when they should be doing a rebuild of the show. Sticking in new presenters that lack the chemistry of the trio and trying the same formula isn't going to work. Of course people said the same things back in 2002 when the trio took over, but look how that turned out. I liked Extra Gear though, it's more of a car show rather than an entertainment show with cars involved.

Haven't seen it yet. Matt LeBlanc is kinda the reason I don't want to see it; his face annoys me.

The trio of Clarkson, Hammond, and May WERE Top Gear. I almost don't give a shit about the car reviews. The photography was beautiful and the hilarious chemistry of the hosts was what defined the show. I look forward to the Amazon show, but I won't be bothering with the continuing Top Gear show.

I just found it funny when Matt Leblanc referred to driving down a rainy road in England as 'torture I did not sign up for'. In the old top gear they had them driving cheap lorries through the Amazon. It's not as good, they don't have the same chemistry and they're trying to make it the same as the old one. I think it needs to go in its own direction to be good, but right now it feels like a Dave original show.

I refuse to watch lel

Haven't seen it. No plans to. I'm ok with the occasional American version, dumb as it is.
-
No where near as good as the old Top Gear.
-
It was ok, although they did a lot of very Top Gear stuff it just doesn't feel like Top Gear any more.
-
Captain America is in it?
-
Refuse to watch it
-
Its on par with the US version. With out Clarkson, May, and Hammond, its trash.
-
It's garbage. I don't even have to watch it to know.
-
garbage

I thought it was ok. Matt was very good and Chris wasn't that bad. Clarkson's new series will probably be a lot better though

Anyone else,
