Definitely the flood... Right? Crap wrong game! Seriously though I think it was either mankind itself warring too much and created the traveller to contain and cripple their own race, or it was all alien races fighting back against greedy human race trying to conquer all livable worlds.

3 RepliesEdited by ectomort: 3/6/2013 9:36:45 PMmy guess is the Traveller is time-travelling tech from our future; built by the descendants of the Guardians (that is, the characters we play in the game), built using tech harvested from our (eventual) defeat of the Vex, and sent back in time to give humanity a sliver of a chance for survival. that's just one potentially cool plot twist; but Bungie have had years to come up with an even richer and more epic story arc. we'll see.
