Two words: Holy. Shit.
Mother Base is huge, literally and figuratively. You can research and develop new or improve existing equipment for your missions. Recruit/kidnap enemy soldiers in order to grow your army. Level up your support team and you can call for supplies and airstrikes during your missions, or even manipulate the goddamn weather to your advantage. Keeping your army's morale up is important, and be sure to shower (yes, you can actually take a shower in Mother Base) in between missions so you don't disgust your comrades.
INVASIONS...or infiltrations, to be more accurate, of other players' Forward Operating Bases (which are the online extensions of Mother Base, and are optional). You can steal supplies or soldiers from these bases, but be careful not to be detected. Players can infiltrate your FOB even during a mission. Be sure to keep your security and defenses up.
My hype level is beyond orbit at this point. It's not even in the solar system anymore.

It got me wet

The microtranscation crap is terrible. Hopefully they'll realize their mistake and drop it, but considering the publisher, probably not.

I'm so excited. I preordered it awhile ago.

Edited by Bluefoxx3: 8/7/2015 1:25:34 PMAt least the FOB system will be separate from the core game. One thing I'm really looking forward too is customizing Mother Base. I for one am going to build a very intricate maze-cityish-like MB if they're saying we have total control and freedom in how and where we place each platform. I love spending alot of time just building massive organized bases like in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

we know how the diamonds are made, they spoiled in in the trailers already.
NS/BB turns his fallen fellow dogs of war into ashes and then turns said ashes into diamonds, thus making them the "diamond dogs".
Game of the year re-confirmed
-
Well at least FOB's won't be tied into the single player, though it's easy to see that the FOB system will have a ton of flaws.
-
everything in the first paragraph has already been done in Peace Walker. The rest is cool though. I have a feeling the enemy players infiltrating your base would be really annoying and rage inducing. I'm still super -blam!-ing hyped for this game though. I wanted the collectors edition so bad. GOTY for me

Edited by DjNormal: 8/6/2015 8:59:58 PMAfter seeing how in depth the game really is, I may just wait on Mad Max for a while... As September is going to be busy. Edit: I was going to pick them both up at the same time.

Can't wait to play I've been a fan for a long time
-
I was flipping balls when I watched this, I can't wait to see all that this game has to offer. I'm particularly interested in the members of RnD as I'm sure Kojima will be a part of it.. The online invasion of your fobs looks pretty sweet as well, can't wait for this game!!
-
I know what im going invest in my base.
-
I saw him become invisible and I flipped my shit
-
It's a cool feature but I hope you can turn it off like they did in watch dogs because this is only going to end bad for me.
-
Looking at the production times, it seems okay hopefully there won't be 1 month waiting times.
im looking at you every freaking bad mobile game.
-
The amount of microtransactions that will be in the game for RnD, base building, acquiring resources, etc. Keeps me from getting too excited
-
Oh my god that was the most epic thig I've ever seen. This game gets better and better each demo. My hype level is beyond all known galaxies and has taken a wormhole fulton to another universe. Praise Kojima.
-
Lol jesus -blam!-. That base is larger then some games.
-
I'm sold. How much money do I have to throw at my screen before the game is Fultoned directly to my front door?
