Official League of Legends discussion thread
Thought we could have one, since more members of MBT are starting to play. You know how these things work.
For those that don't know or are interested, league of legends is a free online game where you fight in arenas on teams, trying to destroy the enemy base. Its that RTS-styled field of view, but your champion has skills. Its not an RPG, its not an RTS. Its fun. leagueoflegends.com

After some games with Elise, she is pretty powerful. If you pull off the right combos it can be devestating. She can be built AP or AD, and I'm really at a loss on how I should build her. AP Bruiser, AD Bruiser, or full AP caster. She lacks a natural escape, but does a great job of sticking on other champions and not letting them run.

The new items/elixirs are 3v3 only, I believe.

There are new elixers for super-late game champs! All the new items look cool, but I must say, Zombie Brand must be legendary. In fact all these skins are sick. I may be spending a ton of money soon... [Edited on 10.18.2012 10:47 AM PDT]

If you stand on them uninterrupted for a few seconds, you lock them for your team for 90 seconds. If you have one of the alters locked, your team gets an addition 4gold per kill, and if you have both alters locked for your team, your team gets the additional gold, as well as your AD and AP are increased by 10%.

So many changes! New 3v3 map (which is actually really fun), so I'll be playing some more 3v3. Jayce nerfed, Eve nerfed, and Rengar nerfed (finally lol). Syndra buffed. Sona and Blitz nerfed. Ez nerfed. Going to be alot more balance in this game I think.

So she isn't super-nukey, but at the same time you can tell how she works and that she will do some good damage. In lane you use human form to whittle people down with your Q, dealing more damage the more hp they currently have, and your W if you need the burst, and your E to either set up kills or stun for an escape. Once you have your ult, you can then E-Q-W-R-W-ignite-Q to finish them off, using your spider-E when you need to close the gap or escape She seems pretty fun

Yep, they revealed her. She sounds like there could be a decent amount of combos. They really did make her like Nidalee, which makes sense because originally they had planned "The Spider Queen" a long time ago, but ended up making her into Nidalee. I hope there arent any league players with extreme arachnophobia lol Oh and also, Twisted Treeline remake. Glad they are finally deciding to do something about it, since it is so underplayed.
