Official League of Legends discussion thread
Thought we could have one, since more members of MBT are starting to play. You know how these things work.
For those that don't know or are interested, league of legends is a free online game where you fight in arenas on teams, trying to destroy the enemy base. Its that RTS-styled field of view, but your champion has skills. Its not an RPG, its not an RTS. Its fun. leagueoflegends.com

So I bought Diana. I really dislike melee champions almost as a rule, but she is really fun. She's the kind of bursty assassin that makes me giggle when I play her. Unfortunately I'm terrible with melee champions not named Gragas, so I need to brute force grind out games til I can actually play her without feeding my lane opponent. Also, Syndra out on the PBE, and she is amazing. So much control from an ap carry!

I am really, really tempted to get the 100$ worth of RP. It comes with 20$ worth of bonus RP. Although technically youd get 10$ bonus normally, thats still a ton of RP. I just hate that I always spend so much RP on the game, so if I bought this it would be the last RP ever for me.

I now have all mids except for 5... Akali, Diana, Lulu, Kog, and Syndra. I just bought Talon, and I strait up dominate.

Corki is getting hit with a nerf, but that doesn't mean he won't be top. He will still be above most of the other AD carries. And yeah, Corki can be amazing.

When you get a ton of CC and disables, it lets Corki clean up very efficiently, due to his mobility. Secondly, he IS getting a pretty rough set of nerfs, and it'll make him much less of a safe pick. His true damage no longer works off crit procs, which is huge, and Valkyrie is getting nerfed fairly hard. I think Ez is going to stay on top, because his "nerf" barely hurt him at all.

After watching the regionals I think a Well-played Corki may be OP.

I am not a bandwagon :P And they didn't play terribly. There were some major plays going out. And Mitch, its not as bad as DoTa or HoN, other MOBA games. Its rough, yeah. Just ignore it, tough through it, and just make sure you always learn and improve from mistakes. [Edited on 09.02.2012 10:44 PM PDT]

Everyone just ignore Dan's question. As much fun as it has been, I wish I could have seen more of y'all. Didn't get to see my tryndamere top. Or Theo in the jungle with his fun and games. I probably won't be back to my usual home connection until Thanksgiving. November for you Canadians.
