Swordbearer takedowns.
The biggest problem I have with the final crota fight is killing the swordbearer quickley enough to get two sets of swipes at Crotes himself.
What techniques and weapons do the honorable Dads/Guardians have the most success with?
I am assuming that Galla and Swordbreaker are the shizzle, but I don't have either.

5 RepliesOn normal, the group and I play from the left. After the adds are clear, I go down the plinth where the Chalice sits. Whilst standing on top, I Swordbreaker the Swordbearer for an easy 1st sword. After I've used the sword, Crota rotates to the right. I return to the left where the rest of the team is. Another Swordbearer will spawn. You aggro him by walking down the stairs and then walking back up them. All you do is keep an eye on Crota's movements. When he starts rotating back to mid, go down the stairs & frag the Swordbearer. Assuming that you have been able to hit Crota x3 per kneel, he'll be dead in 2 swords with plenty of time before he moves. I'll show you all this when I teach sword bearing Monday eve mate.

3 RepliesThe rest of your team is firing on him also, aren't they? Or are you soloing it? If you are brave stand where the relic is and shotgun the hell out of him. A sticky 'nade helps here. But you team should also be laying into him with ice breaker if they have it or a decent primary and the odd HoC or jelly round.
