Crota wins again

Has anyone else had an enormous amount of trouble beating crota? I think I've spent a total of 10 hours with various random raid groups trying to kill his ass. Most recently (last night) I spent 3 hours straight as swordbearer trying to beat him only to walk away empty handed and frustrated. I can never seem to get a team together that can be consistent. I'm usually stuck with a bunch of kids who are goofing off and have no respect for the fact that some of us have to go to work and have families, and can't spend hours on end failing at a raid. It's always the same problems, nobody helps kill the swordbearer, so crota ends up moving and the sword goes to waste, or not everyone shoots crota when the swordbearer says so, or my personal favorite as I stand on the rock next to crota, sword in hand.... "Everyone shoot crota now"....... (Random fireteam members)"I'm out of rockets!" Or the boomers kill me Or crota enrages cause I have to solo the swordbearer again.... Or the ogres kill someone and people forget to shoot the oversoul Or crota stands up early out of the blue and swats me like a fly. I'm ready to give up on this raid.....
