Why should these only apply to men? Shouldn't EVERYONE follow these rules despite their sex?
When you try to treat people differently because of their race, gender, etc; it isn't fair nor equal for anyone.
In a way, I find this to be very sexist and discriminatory against both male and female gamers on biased stereotypes and a need for males to "defend a damsel in distress". Treat everyone fairly and with respect.

Nooo you opened the door trying to have a logical discussion with this guy is like paying someone to beat you in the head with a baseball bat.
-
I could say the same about you and you "it will never change" attitude
-
I didn't say it will never change, I said that you are pointless and you won't change it with your post. Their for your only purpose for this post is to feel self important.
-
people will be jerks no matter what. The people who creep on women in video games are going to be the ones that creep on them in real life.
These are your words.
-
Yes and that quote in context is supporting evidence for the argument that your post is pointless.
-
No that's you saying that It's pointless because you think that it can't be changed.
-
No I said that you sitting at your computer dealing self important isn't going to change it.
-
Dealing not dealing.
-
Feeling
-
No but a little awareness is a start. Clearly you think otherwise. That's wrong but it's whatever.
-
Your not raising awareness your just being a self important dip.
-
This coming from who again
-
How is pointing out that your a self important dip being a self important dip? Answer its not you self important dip.
-
But you're doing the exact same thing. I fail to see your horrible point
-
No I started out by saying that this thread was redundant and you should stop spamming the forums.
-
Then you said that it's redundant because people are going to do it anyways. Really good logic there
-
No it is redundant because you aren't going to change anything.

Look. He said creeping is not okay. Could he have done that better, and put a bit more thought into it? Yeah, he could have. But look at all of the Comic Cons adding this into their rules to protect, for the most part, their female cosplayers. If a lady is creeped on, people are encouraged to get the dude off their back. If he doesn't back off, he's kicked out. Does this rule apply solely to women? If a guy complains that someone is creeping on him, is he ignored? No. He's helped in the same way as everyone else. That's called common decency. The problem he's addressing is that not everybody has common decency. And even those who do may not have it all the time. Even the best of us can do something stupid from time to time and not think twice. Throw anonymity into the bag, and you're probably going to have a bad time sooner rather than later. But the more awareness you throw out there, the better the chances of bad stuff not happening. That's what this guy is promoting. I think this is a good thread. Now, I'm not claiming that this thread is the shining paragon of all things good on the internet. It's not, by a LONG shot. In fact, it doesn't even come close. But it's a step in the right direction. And what's wrong with taking a step or two before you really get into your stride?

Edited by Master of Blood: 10/19/2013 5:34:54 AMThe guy is a -blam!-ing idiot is he not? I'm sorry you even had to deal with him.

If im an idiot does that make you an even bigger idiot

Here here!

Edited by AssaultProdigy: 10/18/2013 6:14:41 PMBecause you are more likely to here of a guy creeping on the internet or on video games then you will with a chick. I thought this was common sense.
-
My point completely blew over your head apparently. By making this thread you are treating female gamers as damsels who need saving and basically saying that because someone is a female, she needs to be treated differently than a fellow male gamer. Treat EVERYONE will respect regardless of what race or gender they might be.
-
And so did mine. When you get the situation of a chick creeping on a guy then you come call me ok.
-
I never said that was okay, I am saying that gamers should treat each other fairly regardless of gender or race. Guys shouldn't need to change how they talk to girls and girls shouldn't need to change how they talk to guys.
