So, it's pretty apparent that the show has major ups and downs. Episodes seven and eight were completely awesome, while the rest of the series has been pretty slow. I personally think the show has been decent so far, but could definitely use some work.
THE GOOD:
+ Fight Scenes
+ Character Design
+ Some Voice Acting
+ Stylistic Set Pieces
THE BAD:
- Animation goofs, glitches and overlooks
- Unexplained elements
how the heck did Ruby and Weiss even ride the nevermore in the first place
- Some Voice Acting
After nine episodes, what's your verdict? Is it something you'll continue to watch? A disappointment?
-
I find the dialogue cheesy, the story lame, and the characters underdeveloped. The animation is a bit choppy for me as well
-
The fight scenes are awesome, and a lot of characters are cool. I love how Ruby brings Weiss to the edge of sanity so often, and the antics of Nora and Lei. The creatures also look awesome. The downside is that they had to go through the whole 'magic school' shtick, so when there is no fighting it looks just like a lesser version of soul eater. And the humour is hit and miss, hope they're not afraid to use darker humour. Also, the black background characters creep me the -blam!- out.
-
I enjoy watching it and shall continue to do so. The glitches don't bother me and I don't find the voice acting particularly annoying what-so-ever.
-
The animation could be smoother and the episodes are too short. But overall? It's much better than I expected.

Edited by Coup de Grace: 9/16/2013 12:39:26 AMThe episode lengths get to me sometimes, but it's not something I don't expect or am upset about. The animation outside of combat scenes still looks a little goofy sometimes. And the humor in the episodes feels very, VERY rushed. Especially the most recent episode. This is something I really would like them to get better with. But after those three things, the whole thing looks great to me. I really like it. And I like that team JNPR is just as important as team RWBY- they don't feel like unessential background characters. I'm still giving it some time to get off the ground a bit more
-
I think RWBY is terrible, honestly. But if it keeps Monty working for Roosterteeth, so be it. But it would be pretty depressing if this goes past a season or two.
-
I love Monty, hence I will tolerate anything of his
-
The only things that bothered me were episode length and the voice acting. The voice acting has gotten better...
-
Awsome
-
It's okay. I'm kind of disappointed that the only male characters are pink head, weird coffee drinking teacher guy, and John, but overall I can't complain.
-
I watched the first few episodes. After that I lost interest.
-
I like it, but most of the episodes are really short...
-
Never heard of it
-
Don't particularly care for it.
-
It's like watching a cutscene from Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
-
-
It's meh. If it wasn't from roosterteeth I wouldn't watch it.
-
I like it.

Cancer
-
its goofy but ill probably still watch it.
-
- MLP-esque stereotypical 1 dimensional characters - Stereotypical (if even existent) story It's bad. It's boring. And I don't like it.
-
Everything about it is shit. I stopped after episode 3. It is just utter crap. RvB is waaaay better.
-
It's okay, makes me look forward to Thursdays.
