Am I the only one here....

Who thinks cross-gen online play should be a thing? I don't know if that is even possible, but if it is, it should definitely be an Xbox One/360 feature. That way I could play Destiny on my Xbox One with my friend who has it on his Xbox 360. Thoughts?
