spend it or wait it out?

I finally have enough strange coins and mote of light to buy some exotic gear from xur this coming weekend but with The Dark Below expansion coming out i'm debating if I should wait it out for another week. What's you opinions guys and gals? I put in tons of hours of game time harvesting these currency. Lol
