I finally managed to get the clan tag added to my banner and wanted to offer thanks to our founding fathers for creating such a great clan.
DoD has restored my faith in online communities - it is a pleasure to be a part of such a merry band of damn good people. The pages here do us proud; there is no wingeing or trolling, but instead there is a growing sense of community and warmth; a forum that feels like this is a rare thing, in my experience, so long may we hold these values in tact.
I was glad to discover this feeling was not restricted to the forums, but can readily be found by jumping into a Fireteam with other DoDs - you really are a friendly bunch and I look forward to meeting more of you.
It's odd, but I feel proud to be a DoD and wear my tags like a medal of honour. I may be delirious from lack of sleep (teething is fun, eh?), but I just wanted to say...
Thanks.

Absolutely - the more games I've dropped into the more fun I've had, with likeminded souls who you can actually talk to, rather than be shouted at or just receive static through your headset. Managed to get complete nightfalls, score some exotics and have a good time as well. Best gaming decision I've made - well done to those who organised this and to all clan members who commit to being active. Look forward to meeting more of you out there in the coming weeks!

Hear hear! This is the first time I've ever joined a clan because it's the first one I've ever come across that isn't full of teenage trolls or people who take it all way more seriously than I have the time to!

Yep totally agree with you on that one, everyone I've meet has been proper helpful and with missions and advice
