Iron Banner So Far
As most of us in the group I have been focused on Pve and not really bothered about Destiny's Pvp element. The iron banner however has opened my eyes and shown me how team work and a great group of guys can overcome the lack of knowledge and unfathomable weapons of the opposition and come out on top.
I am half way to level 3 as Rl has taken over this weekend but I must say I am glad I found Dod and have had so much fun moving out of my comfort zone and taking on new challeneges by your side. To all that I have fought with I thank you..
I shall be back on Monday eve to reach level 3 and obtain my armour an then I shall be satisfied.

1 ReplySomething must be wrong, I am OK at PVP but I was too player in most matchs even when my team lost. When I played CoD I was usually in the top five-ish most matchs. Giving it some wellie tonight to get to rank three for the boots to finish off my armour and get to level 30

4 RepliesI'm pretty good on thee multiplayer so reach rank 5 yesterday, main aim was boots and gloves to help get to 30. Sadly i need a helmit or chest piece to drop in raid to reach goal, overall much better event this time round. Picked up a ship that gunlaw -iceman want and timurs lash. Great teaming with other DOD players and that's what it about !!! TEAMWORK / SOCIAL

1 ReplyBeen great the last few days, played with a lot of guys that i hadn't spoken to before. Got my IB up to about 500 away from lvl 5... the grinding would have prob been unbearable if i'd have been on my own instead of with clan members and i'm sure my win ratio would have been a lot worse too. I've also been led through the Vog for the 2nd time and earnt my first bit of raid armour (boots..... predictably about 2 hours after i had bought the IB ones.) Thanks to all the guys that i have run with the last few days :D P.S..... Longman I was on your team last night and saw your scores/kills/kd....... if that is you being out of your comfort zone i'd hate to be the enemy when you are in it lol ppS... got timurs lash, joldars hammer and the fusion rifle... just want the airbus and the scout rifle now

Well finally reached level 3 last night and got my boots so I am officially out! Was awesome pvping with you guys and must say I wouldnt mind a crucible visit from time to time too help break up the constant grind. Anyone up for making it happen?

4 RepliesI must have been on f'ing drugs this morning. Won every match in first place. Check out this particular one. I only remember dieing once because the postman knocked on the door! Otherwise 30 kills no deaths with a score of 7850, look at all the other player scores it's so funny. Every match I had 10 and 15 kill streaks. So much adrenaline in me now can't hold a cup of tea! Obviously I also took a video ;) So yeah. Loving it. Been a pleasure too my friend.

1 ReplyThat pretty much sums up my feelings Longman, I was not a big fan of PvP but I found I was actually enjoying it towards the end lol. I'm done now at Iron Banner rank 4, got my raid spec gauntlets now. Thanks to all the regular guys I roll with and also to new guys I've met from DoD, you all made the Iron Banner a much much better experience and cracking laugh to boot. Apologies I never came back after my stir fry the other night Longman, a few regulars joined me before I could get back into your group
