For those of you finding this group for the first time I thought you might find the following information useful.
This is a social Destiny clan mainly aimed at Dads who have commitments other than full-time gaming, it's not uncommon to team up with a clan member who has limited time or has to leave part way through because the children are calling for attention (although requests for food after a 6 hr gaming session are reasonable demands for attention).
We're also focused on PS4 owners who want to play during UK hours (just in case the Group title wasn't clear enough ;) )
There are currently five groups for Dads Of Destiny UK PS4, this is because of the Bungie limitation of only 100 clan members per group. You can be a member of as many groups as possible and I strongly recommend joining at least all three of our groups and the main DoD group (links below), but you can only be a clan member of one group. Groups I, II and III are currently full but group IV has space.
To join the Clan (rather than the group), go to the Group page and click the Playstation Clan tab at the top of the forum page (only seems to work if accessing by the web rather than the mobile app). If successful your name plate in Destiny will show the clan name underneath your PSN ID.
Currently the only benefit of joining a Clan is to get trophies for completing activities with the team made up of only Clan members. If you're after one of those trophies remember all fire team members must have the same Clan name under their nameplates (being a member of a related or sub-clan is not enough).
About yourself
Although you can add comments to this post there are other places on the forum you can use to tell us about yourself.
Make sure you find the PSN ID thread for each of our groups and add your PSN ID (it's not always the same as your forum ID unfortunately).
There is also a general getting to know you threads for each group.
Teaming up with Clan mates
There are plenty of clan mates willing to help out, if you need help immediately or at a set time use the Group Wall function to post your request, plenty of people monitor that and will jump in when they can.
If you're online and just want to team up most clan members are happy for you to just jump in using the Join FireTeam option.
Some advice on etiquette:
1. Once you join ask if it's OK and ask how long they're on for.
2. Don't be offended if you're asked to leave, it could be they're waiting for a regular group and don't have space for someone
3. If you drop in just as they finish the boss or mission and you get a share of the reward say a very big thank you
4. Be polite, everyone of us has different skills and abilities and plays differently
5. If you have a mic please use it, even if only to say hello and that you will be on mute.
6. If you don't have a mic or suspect the other person doesn't have a mic use emotes to test out. Ask the person to jump twice if they can hear you or wave and dance to let them know you're at least paying attention.
If you want some peace and quiet and don't want clan mates randomly dropping into your game set your FireTeam settings to Closed or Invitation only. The default is Friends Only and is reset to this every time you logon.

I've put some useful links below. Ghost Hunter allows you to track which dead ghosts you have found and to find the missing ones.
Destiny Public Events is probably one of the most useful sites, it calculates the frequency of Public Events allowing you to get the first public event of the day award as quickly as possible.
Feel free to ask any questions or add any more info (and to bump the post for me)
