Multi-Planet Public Event Farming Run

I’m sure many have seen or done the Cosmodrome public event farming run on Earth. After the link to destinypublicevents.com was created I decided to try and find a better route that involved multiple planets with less downtime in between. The uncommon rating on places like the Mothyards threw me off a bit, since I’ve always been able to depend on that one spawning. I have read that some events will only spawn when more than one person is in the zone, so this event run is most likely best done with multiple people especially since the last step, both Scablands and Hollow, are a “Kill the Target” type event. Testing is needed to figure out which events are too close together. For example, if the XX:00 event is late, making it to the XX:05 event may not be feasible, if this is regularly the case, then that step can be removed and instead head straight to the XX:10 event. The same strategy can be applied to any other events that end up overlapping with each other. The Cosmodrome run can be found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2gltxy/how_i_maxed_out_my_vanguard_marks_in_under_4/ There are 8 possible events you can hit in one hour, BUT two of them are the RARE events in the Steppes zone. Also, the XX:00 – XX:05 is nearly impossible to get to in time. This reduces the average events to 5/hour. With my multi-planet run, you can also get 5 events/hour even if you assume that you won’t see the rare event or make it to the XX:05 event and the XX:50 events on time. This run also allows for collection of different material types instead of only spinmetal. My concern is that Destiny’s instability at times might cause issues with this run. Let me know what you guys think. Hopefully it’s a better way to get Vanguard marks each week!
