Is the exotic bounty for Thorn worth the effort?
Anyone have Thorn? I got half way through the exotic bounty and the part where I need to get 500 points killing guardians with void in the crucible (5 points per kill, lose 2 points every time you die) seems exhausting. So I'm curious if anyone has it and if its worth the effort? I have Bad JuJu and that exotic bounty wasn't too bad and I know they're buffing exotic weapons soon, Bad JuJu and Thorn included so I kinda want to do it but this part of the bounty just seems painful and frustrating.

Void shotgun/fusion rifle in rumble. If you're good ya get it done pretty fast.

not worth it. devil you know is better, and last word is even better than them both.

last word is beasty when you get all the perks... that quest line does seem exhaustive..can never have too many exotics, though

I have last word, thorn and devil. Thorn is by far my favourite out of them and my goto for pvp

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback. I'll start running the crucible part of the bounty and see how I progress. I had similar hesitation on the bad juju part where you needed 10,000 points in the crucible but that part was super easy.

Thorn is the best crucible weapon in the game, better yet it's getting a buff. You can one on one a suros user with it.

Nope its -blam!-ing terrible, last word so much better. When it gets buffed maybe at the moment not even close.

It's worth it, I've been using it non stop in PVP for over two weeks, it was the first exotic bounty I've had, and I've had 8 of them.

My personal opinion, the devil you know if your running another exotic and the last word. The last word is a fun weapon. The thorn, imo is not something you want to run, unless you have it maxed out and want to use it for Pvp for the perks.

Fully upgraded its good. long range and one perk adds increased damage over time to enemies.

I prefer the legendary hand canon I have. I dont care for thorn. Just depends on your tastes
