Bungie is looking for a writer

Speaking of story, I see Bungie is looking for a writer. I think they'd do well to hire someone passionate about this story... like one of us! Say, I have a degree in Journalism. Think I should apply?
Bungie is looking for a writer to help expand the Destiny universe. We need a scribe to work with various design disciplines to bring the Destiny experience to life through the many storytelling channels the game offers. This will include everything from the fiction that drives the sandbox experiences to the world-building that makes them feel real. You’ll be called upon to work closely with numerous teams across the studio to apply fiction, naming conventions, and dialog for various design features. You’ll also contribute to a variety of content beyond the game to be featured on the Destiny Companion. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working inside our firmly established tone and style, but there is still plenty of room for creativity. Above all, we’re looking for someone with a grand passion for storytelling in games and proven chops in the science fiction and fantasy genres to help make our world feel awesome. Estimated Duration: Long term, project (duration may be shortened or lengthened based on business needs). Responsibilities Working with the Writing and Design Leads to bring compelling, world-expanding fiction to the gameplay experience. Working with a large team of writers and designers to add imagination, depth, and context to the world. Writing fiction and stories outside of the gaming space, including Web/Mobile. Required Skills At least three years of experience working as a professional writer in interactive media and/or other storytelling mediums. Ability to iterate without becoming precious with ideas in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Experience, passion, knowledge of the games industry and science fiction and fantasy storytelling. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Bachelor’s degree in communications, literature, journalism, or other writing intensive field.
