We've visited Crota's Tower, and seen his Traveler (which I believe is Oryx).
If you stand around Xur you'll hear him say some pretty crazy things. One thing is this: "Your Traveler has a dark mirror."
With that in mind, I just want to share some pictures with you.

I've had people tell me the floating sphere in the CE raid is just Crota's Oversoul. I'm certain Oversoul is Oryx's way of protecting its Guardian (Crota). If you were fighting on our tower, and the Traveler was awake, wouldn't you expect the Traveler to help? Like it did before? The only question is, why does our Traveler sleep for about 1,000 years after casting Oversoul, while Oryx can repeatedly cast it without issues? Did we get the scrub Traveler?

Wow this is very interesting. I also have a theory on the hive. I think the hive are actually a collective of minds. They have four god including crota and oryx but there is a fifth that is unknown and he\her\it may be stronger than all of them. Anyway i think each of these gods create there own minions. For example crota's fist is actually a crota. Crotas heart is actually a pice of crota. Now the other gods also have this connection with there underlings.

1 ReplyNever thought of that, my team has always believed that the oversoul was the soul of Oryx and was summoned to protect its son, but thinking about that, thats almost exactly the same as the traveler and its guardians, i guess the fact that oversoul is being summoned by 2 hive gods it can be used more ofter, but our traveler still remains stronger because last time i checked you couldnt kill it with mear primarys
