**** Raid Progression Thread - Dark Below, VoG Hard Mode 12/3/14 ****
**** Please read the entire post carefully, the original progression team will stay together, this is for VoG only ***
With the impending DLC on the way and the addition of the new raid, the hard mode progression team will be raiding new content on Tuesday nights, at 5:00 PM Pacific time. This leaves a gaping hole for VoG, with the current way we have things organized we cannot do both raids on the same night. So, with that being said, here are a few ideas, all of them are going to introduce adding new players to the VoG raid:
1. We split off into 2 different teams, each having a leader that has a flexible schedule and is fully capable of leading and teaching a team what we have all learned inside the Vault...on hard mode. This will be crucial for clan progression as a whole, as we can now begin to lead some newer players through the vault and on the path to 30. This method will allow 6 new players to begin progression, and with enough interest, lead to more progression teams. Unless they change the actual spawn points to change the way we fight through certain phases, we now have a "legit" strategy to completing the raid. Next week will take maybe 2.5 hours to complete it.
2. Ditch the vault raid and run it whenever you have time with whoever you can scrape up or a random PUG (this may lead to frustration).
3. This thread is open to ANY and ALL ideas that any of you may have. Post 'em if you got 'em!

Please post your timezone, your dedicated availability (2-3 hour block of time) at that time, your age (this will not keep you out of a group, I promise), your raiding experience in ANY game and your weapon setup for Oracles (guns that have the additional damage to Oracles activated), Relic experience (NONE required) if applicable, Thanks!

GT: xenophont1s Available whenever any time suits me reset usually happens around 8pm est so its not late. Have 2 lvl 30s 1 29 If you have ever run a raid with me you know im a pro :P over 20 hard raids and countless normal 24 years young Own all guns except a small few mostly bounty weps and all my weps are maxed out Love using the relic in raid i try to use it more then others ( we have a deep connection) Iam down to run this new raid straight away and also help others afterwards both with new raid and VoG

Edited by DirectorNasty: 12/4/2014 12:12:09 AMgt: DirectorNasty most days 11am-3pm or 7pm-12am mid-long range, never get too close lvl 30 hunter and warlock lvl 27 punk ass titan (no offense to titan fans) 24 yrs young, wild, and educated been raiding since september but apparently i'm nasty at it, over 20 normal clears and about 8-10 hard clears got all raid weapons fully upgraded with oracle damage minus the gallehorn :'( run the relic like i stole it (fyi i did steal it) i prefer to keep our 6 and move to the new raid but i also think that we should split into 2 groups of 3 and lead 6 new members into the old raid aka atheons blow home on a different night other then tuesday that works for each group

1 ReplyHi everyone my name is Matt gamertag is MR l GT l 500, my time zone is Est and I am normally available from 9 pm - 1 or 2 am. I play a level 28 warlock and I am also leveling a Titan because I keep getting drops for one. I decided I may as well make one instead of throwing the stuff away. I have almost no raid experience, at least no positive raid experience. I have watched all the guides and I know most of what I need to do, I have never had a good group though. I also do not possess any of the raid weapons...hope that doesn't handicap me too much. I am a proficient player, I am good at staying alive, and good at reviving people without dieing...willing to learn anything and everything. By the way, I am 27.

1 ReplyHey Guys, GT is CaptJag, call me Cap or Jason Im a working husband who's wife is somewhere between somewhat and fairly tolerant of my playing a good chunk of hours in the evening. I'm in EST and usually log on for a bit after work 3:30-5:30 or so then again in the evening. Mondays are out as well as every second Thursday, but if we set up a time I'll be on for it. Im part of the pseudo-Friday night raid. 29 Warlock - one piece of raid gear and my "main" 28 Hunter - one piece 30 Titan - Sorta my main since its had the luck of the rolls. No hard Helm though. I've seen hard and regular front to back many times, I regularly lead pugs through. Pro relic holder as long as the Praetorian doesn't glitch. I like beer, killing hard bosses, dick jokes and will likely teabag your ghost when you thought it was safe to run out for ammo. Also, I say this to many people but Destiny is a social experience for me, I'm happy to help people do stuff and would much rather party up with people for the boring stuff. If I'm on my 360 or XB1, hit me up!

I have experience with all parts of the raid. And am willing to help out any who need it. I have two characters at the moment that are running the raid. I just need better gear for the 29. I can do hard and normal mode. I'm usually available after 5:30 pacific time. On my days off I'm usually on during in the mornings. As early a 6 pst to 12 pst or later in some cases. If I'm on hit me up. I'm always willing to help. Hunter 30 Warlock 29 I have almost all raid weapons. I'm available after 5 pst most nights. I know how to use the relic. And I personally like putting it to atheon. ;). Just saying.

13 RepliesI'm stuck with raids I'm pretty close right now I have a checkpoint on.atheon hard I HAVE YET TO BEAT IT. Finding a teams been hard at this point I'm just trying to finally finish the VOG GT is same as above I'm usually available Mornings till about 2pm est time and weekends can vary I've been in the vault twice Gears somewhat good but I need better scout rifle or auto rifle (working on that) I'm level 27 now right about to go to 28 but I need ascendant shards any help will 've welcome

1 Reply*Eastern *Monday thru Thursday after 6:30pm eastern, Friday I raid on normal with clanies, Saturday anytime. *45 *I've had a gaming console most of my life started with an Atari and now have a XB1 all sorts of gaming experience prefer PVE over PVP. Done normal VOG lots. Haven't done Hard all the way through. *Atheon's Epilogue, Vision of Confluence, Praedyth's Revenge, Hezen Vengeance, Corrective Measure *limited experience with Relic.

My info: GT: Mephisto75 Clan: Prime Élite Married, Father of 2, Avid Homebrewer, Family Guy and Gamer Work Dayshift 6am-5pm M-F meaning usually I am available 6:30pm - 10pm depending on family obligations, Weekends are usually open and flexible 2 Level 30 Warlocks (coming soon just have to level the new gear) & LVL 3 Titan Time Zone Eastern Standard Looking for like minded people to game with and Raid with either Normal or Hard on the 360 or XB1. I am a Mid/Long range type of player PvE over PvP
