2 RepliesAs things stand right now, I only have Thorn. What I really want though is The Last Word. I want that weapon more than anything else in the game! I love the sound of it, the look of it and the way the hammer is fanned. It is an absolute beast! Its close quarters to mid range and it has a high rate of fire and its full auto. I love my hand cannons and that one is the creme de la creme! That said, there have been alot of cries lately for it to be nerfed in the general forums. And it seems that Bungie listens to cries about things when its about nerfing... And Thorn is due for a buff. So strength wise we may just end up seeing Thorn become the most powerful Handcannon in the game!

I cannot comment on hawkmoon as its psn exclusive (im jealous). I enjoy the last word its fast, its fun. I especially love the finger spin of the gun when you switch weapons or throw a grenade. The art engravings on the hand cannon are very nice! However my vote still goes to the thorn. I love the green glow when shooting big enemies especially the walker. Every time I unload on the walker and it starts glowing other players still pause game in middle of battle to see what I'm using. Don't get me started on the dot. When I take the thorn in the crucible the other team is done they just don't know it yet. I love tagging them and watching them hide and try to regen only to die. Saddly this usually ends up in me getting t-bagged by any the enemy who kills me but it was totally worth it. I could keep going but its pointless the thorn wins hands down. More rounds does not make a better gun an accurate weilder of the thorn makes a magnificant handcannon!

I have thorn, hawkmoon, the last word, and fatebringer. So far fatebringer is my top handcannon. Love seeing enemies explode.
