Hello b.net, Kak here. I wanted to write down my thoughts and feeling for being here for just over a year now. Yes, I completely understand that there are tons of you guys that have been here longer than I've been gaming. And some of you on here since I was a toddler in diapers (I'm 16).
Anyway, let's begin. I originally got the companion app early October because I loved the game and wanted whatever thing would help me with it. Getting the app seemed logical. I didn't start commenting until latte October. I then joined a clan (Dead Orbit Gladiators) that I found on the forums early November. With there help, I meet my first friends on the this game. And with them, I finished my first raid (VOG normal) and started a clan, Exotic Inc. Together, Exotic Inc, finished hard mode VOG, normal crota, and hard crota. We broke up shortly before HoW because of a difference in consoles and frame (I went to X1 most of them were 360 or quite the game).
It was during HoW that I got into the community. Actually having conversations and venturing out of #Destiny was a massive discovery. Meeting the #Floof and having my first Porch Day was a wonder. I eventually even started my own # (#KaknTak) where I catalog all my posts.
Late 2014 is when I join The Seventh Conflux. My first community group. Participating in community game nights and meeting people was amazing. Eventually, I joined multiple provide groups including the Penny Arcade Expo, where I meet lots of newly acquired coffee friends. As well as my nemesis, MagikTaco (I ☕️ you).
I'd like to thank the Bungie community for having me for this year. And, here's to another 9.
Kak, out.
TL;DR: Thank you b.net community.

Thumbs up bro

In truth, many of us joined at your age or younger. It's nice to see a fresh wave of people who want to learn about the community and become a part of it. Keep being a great member and stay classy.

Congrats. The rare ones that stick around are the ones that actually form the community.

Glad this group could be a part of your first year experience.

Okay. Only four more until you join the Oldfig society.
