I guess thats ok, for folks who play at ungodly hours. But it sucks that friends cannot jump in anymore. Neither can you solo it if you wanted too.

Love it. Three up, three down no fuss. Would rather do nightfall with clan mates.

Stupid. .. you hear me Bungie... dumbest thing ever. .. I want the damn choice ! I don't want some jerk off afk gaining points of my hard work. I'm almost always at the top of the boards

Again, Bungie does it wrong. Good intentions, poor delivery. There should be an OPTION for matchmaking on the weekly. It'd be nice to still be able to drop into a friends run of the weekly, and matchmake when no one else is online.

I did two match making weeklies today and all went well, nobody quit, went AFK or sat back. Overall it was a good time.
-
I like it but I think you'll see people leaving, going AFK and not participating just like ROC strikes.

I sent messages yesterday. . I said .. hey you want to play or get reported. . . amazingly they moved after that. . Was 2 lvl 30s in the same party taking to eachother at the spawn point...

I don't mind it but what I don't like is them completely taking away the freedom we have had with it up to this point. Such as going solo or with one friend, starting and waiting to be joined by a buddy, or hopping into a group with a few others. I still need the weekly as my hours on the game have been reduced this week since my daughter is sick but I would still rather have it stay the way it currently is. We may be spoiled with the group we have here. I haven't gone a week without completing the nightfall or weekly since I've been part of DoD and ran about 5 of them last week helping others to get it done.

I wish they would set up a mechanic that you could turn matchmaking on or off as you see fit for all content. Add it in the mission modifier screen with the difficulty.

I have mixed feelings. I am one of those guys who looks to see if someone on my friend list is doing a weekly / nightfall and if so I like to jump in even if I already got my loot for the week. Not being able to do that for the Weekly is disappointing. On the other hand, it means that I can do the weekly at any time on any of my toons. I just do not want to have 2 level 27s matched with 1 level 32 on a level 30 weekly.

I'm cool with it.

Edited by iClimb2U: 2/20/2015 5:35:05 AMYeah I'm mixed. I agree that it's good for those people or times when no ones on or wants to do a weekly. But at the same time I agree with rufus that people will abuse it and go afk :/ as well as to your point that your friends can't just join in on your solo progress. So I guess my mix is 75% disagree 25% agree lol.

Yeah...don't like that you don't have the option to solo it or at least start till someone jumps in. Hopefully it boots people if they don't move within 2 minutes from the start. Hate those players who wait till you clean out most of the waves before joining or quitting.
