What is your most effective way to gain Ascendant Materials?

I buy legendary stuff and disenchant it immediately. usually there are 2-3 shards per item.

3 RepliesThe easiest way is by doing a public event and the daily mission at level 28. If you are lucky, on completition of the public you'll get a shard or energy, and then again from the message in the tower. While a few of the daily missions can be challenging, some of them are a doddle giving easy 2 ascendants. Do that with 3 characters every day. It's about 90 minutes grinding for up to 12 acendant materials a day.

raid..you can get up to 40-45 materials each hard raid :)
