Enhanced reflexes from FPS... It's legit. You really do have to learn to respond faster, especially in Call of Duty.

Edited by WickedWahine808: 6/17/2014 1:49:54 AMI aim to live a happy life because stress and anger often lead to psychological and physical discomfort and are a complete waste of time. Focusing on the positive and the fun is my goal. Gaming is part of a healthy regimen. It boosts my serotonin, dopamine and other beneficial hormones levels, therefore increasing my happiness levels 10 fold...

Stress relief. I kick back and game after a hard day

It's kept me from taking my aggression out on real people instead of virtual aliens. I've got a lot of anger that doesn't have any other way of calming, unless I get totally -blam!-ed up on something. Which gets expensive if I do it too often. So I play videogames and force my frustration onto the Covenant, or the fine citizens of Los Santos, and then I'm not only calm, but generally either satisfied or extremely amused. That's why I say videogames prevent violence. Except for those mentally ill kids that shoot up their schools because Tank Dempsey convinced him in his dreams everybody was a zombie or something. When that's the case, knitting would probably be a better hobby.

Gaming has helped me a lot, it helped me in leaving the past behind and movong on, i was constantly bullied back then and i didn' t just couldn't hold the anger. I barely had friends and i was the joke of everybody since i was different. When i started playing videogames i found that i don't need to be accepted by others, that i can throw my anger in a virtual world without harming anybody in the real world and that i can be unique by being myself. Right now, i have more friends, those who try and mess up with me won't have the chance. Videogames gave me reasons to why not to care about what others think and live my own life. -

It keeps me happy and away from the real world. And worms has really inspired me to draw a lot. Gaming just makes me happy. :)

Edited by CntrlAltNate: 6/17/2014 3:56:49 AM1) Playing video games helped me choose what career I want to go into. I am currently a computer networking student in college and going into my second year. 2) If you're really stressed out and need to vent, video games is the best place to do it. You can do anything you want in a video game without repercussions in the real world.

Whenever I'm having a bad day or want to rid my worries, I can easily get immersed into a good game and just 'loose connection' with the world. It's helped me a lot, Gaming is like a crutch for me. Its kept me away from drugs, smoking, and alcohol so thats also a plus.
